At L40°, we continue to foster meaningful connections within the SaaS and technology ecosystem through events that bring founders together to share insights, learn, and exchange experiences around scaling and exiting their companies. Here’s a look back at what we’ve been up to over the past two months:

September: Exit breakfast in Miami with Mana Tech

We kicked off the fall with an Exit Breakfast hosted in partnership with Mana Tech at their Downtown Miami offices. The morning gathered a select group of founders for breakfast and a hands-on workshop on how to build a company for an exit from day one, grounded in our belief that sellable = scalable.

It was an engaging and practical session where participants discussed what makes a business attractive to acquirers, how to prepare early for due diligence, and how to align growth strategy with long-term optionality.

October: Founder dinner in Bucharest with saas.group

In October, we teamed up with saas.group to host an intimate SaaS Connect dinner during HowToWeb in Bucharest. Around 15 founders joined us for an evening of conversation and connections around SaaS growth and M&A dynamics.

Our Managing Director Juan Ignacio García attended and shared details about the recent FirstPromoter exit to Springwater, a Bucharest-based SaaS success story represented in exclusivity by L40. It was an inspiring moment to connect with local founders who are building the next wave of scalable European SaaS businesses.

Industry events in Europe and the US

Our team was also active in October across a couple of key SaaS gatherings globally:

  • SaaSiest Amsterdam: attended by Partner Manuel Amor, where we engaged with leading SaaS operators and investors across Europe.

  • Business of Software, Raleigh: attended by Partner Ignacio Villanueva, where we spent three days immersed in curated keynotes and networking. This marked our second consecutive year at BoS US, following our regular participation in its UK edition each spring.

These conferences continue to serve as valuable opportunities to engage with the operators, investors, and acquirers shaping the SaaS landscape. When chosen strategically, they not only foster meaningful connections but also keep us close to the conversations that define where the market is heading.

As part of this ongoing effort, we’ve outlined the top SaaS conferences where you’ll find the L40 Partners team in 2026, providing further opportunities to build relationships, exchange insights, and stay at the forefront of the global tech and SaaS ecosystem.

Coming up: Lisbon founder backroom dinner

Next up, we’re heading to Lisbon for another edition of our Founder Backroom private dining series, co-hosted with Shop Circle. On November 9th, we’ll bring together 20 founders of 7- and 8-figure tech companies for an intimate dinner the night before Web Summit begins. It will also be a unique opportunity to share insights and learnings from our recent deal with Shop Circle, the group behind the acquisition of the Barcelona-based API management software, KrakenD (represented by L40).

These dinners are designed to spark genuine conversations between founders. We talk openly about scaling, fundraising, and preparing companies for an exit. It’s a space for sharing experiences and learning from each other, away from the usual conference noise.
